Hello and Happy Wednesday!
I had a total and complete relapse this week and I started on vitamin D3 with K2 to see if it helps. I also got a new doctor that I can’t see until August 11th. The vitamin D is helping already, no sweating and a perfect night’s sleep last night. We’ll see if it keeps helping. My hopes were all in for LDN as far as it making me feel better so I could function and deal with the root cause of this beast. Well it stopped working all of a sudden. I’m still on it but searching for relief elsewhere.
I’ve been wanting to do a post on Apps that help with this thing we live with. Apps for Hashimoto’s can help reduce stress when shopping, going to restaurants or tracking our symptoms. I also use a meditation app that has been invaluable. Most of the apps I have found are free but for the ones that have a small cost they are worth it if you find a good one.
There is so much advice out there and it gets confusing because you know everyone is different and responds differently to treatment. Most of the time you can only try things out to see if they work for you and how well they work. Apps on the other hand put things in order and help reduce confusion on a pretty basic level. If you consistently use them and enter info in the tracking apps they can be invaluable especially in the beginning of your journey and when traveling.
Get yourself some Hashimoto Apps:
